We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Well-Being Programs Advisor within our Wellness group based in Houston, Texas.

The Well-Being Programs Advisor will assist and support the Wellness Programs Supervisor with program planning and management as well as coordination and execution of employee-facing communications and activities for both domestic and international populations.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion, Health Science, Public Health, Exercise Science, or related field
  • 3 years experience in Corporate Wellness, Health Promotion, Exercise Science, or related field
  • 1 years of experience with program planning/coordination/management and administrative tasks
  • Experience in designing effective marketing materials for health promotion events and activities
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and exhibit flexibility when work assignments or priorities change
  • Client-centered focus and ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with initiative and drive for results
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting and collaborating with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong communication skills including writing and editing abilities
  • Demonstrated level of proficiency in Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Dependable and although it’s not frequent, ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required
  • Frequent travel to field locations is required (approx. 25%)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Wellness event planning and project management experience preferred
  • Professional certification highly preferred (ACSM, NASM, CHES, etc.)
