Accenture Utilities Industry Manager / CIS Transformation in Houston, Texas

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead consulting engagements that enhance customer experience, billing operations, and digital transformation for utilities clients.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring alignment with their strategic goals.

  • Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring high-quality project delivery, on time and within budget.

  • Oversee the development of digital and technology-driven solutions to improve energy retail operations and customer service processes.

  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, supporting proposal development, and participating in sales pursuits.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to bring innovative insights to clients.

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the utilities sector, with a focus on energy retail and customer service.

  • Minimum of 3 years of functional experience with either an SAP or Oracle platform.

  • Expertise in Meter to Cash operations, functions, and technologies.

  • Expertise in major Customer Transformation and technology implementations (e.g., CIS replacements)

  • Proven experience managing client relationships, leading project teams, and delivering successful outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of digital transformation, customer experience, and operational efficiencies within the energy retail sector.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Experience in a Consulting or Client Facing role

  • Familiarity with digital technologies (e.g., CRM, AI, data analytics) relevant to customer service transformation in utilities is a plus.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
