The Hunton Group (https://huntongroup.com/) is seeking to hire a full-time, highly skilled Training Program Manager who will design and implement a comprehensive adult learning framework in support of the Company's recruitment, retention, and employee growth goals. The selected candidate must foster and demonstrate superior knowledge and expertise within an innovative new program designed to assist leadership teams with training challenges. This unique program will provide the ability to connect with trainees through a variety of formats such as social media, online Learning Management Systems, classroom, and third-party providers. This role will also be responsible for managing the consistent delivery of training, assessing trends, implementing performance improvements, and evaluating the effectiveness of the training program. Experience with Paycom is highly advantageous to this role.

Responsibilities :

  • Report to and collaborate closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer to assess performance, identify gaps/key drivers, and recommend training solutions and other related strategies for enhancing performance.

  • Collaborate directly with front-line managers to ensure successful implementation of the training curriculum, perform curriculum reviews, and assess additional training requirements.

  • Define business and performance objectives for all relevant training initiatives.

  • Keep abreast of current learning and performance strategies, delivery methods and techniques.

  • Determine implementation plans, schedules, resource needs and supporting coordination for delivery of training program initiatives.

  • Manage external resources, as needed, to maximize cost effectiveness and quality.

  • Design and develop engaging, innovative, and effective learning experiences that artfully combine multimedia elements (text, infographics, images, video) into courses based on sound principles of adult learning theory and instructional design models using advanced authoring tools.

  • Partner with subject matter experts to design technical curriculum and learning aids.

  • Develop and maintain SCORM compliant content and other technical compliance requirements as mandated.

  • Develop, test and deploy courses within the Company learning management system (LMS).

  • Employ knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design, best practices and technical skills to create effective and engaging learning experiences.

  • Maintain course design documentation throughout development; map learning outcomes to topics/content descriptions, instructional methods, assessment methods and performance criteria.

  • Oversee English and Spanish course voiceover process, including establishing contracts, scheduling, and communicating with translators and voiceover artists, and ensuring quality of deliverables.

  • Participate in the measurement and evaluation of training program effectiveness.

  • Troubleshoot problems and coordinate solutions for technical issues with implementation.

    Key Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development, Adult Education or related field, or equivalent experience, required.

  • Minimum of five years' experience in adult education learning management systems (LMS).

  • Experience with Paycom is highly preferred.

  • Additional experience in vocational training, specifically the HVAC industry (or related craft skills) is desirable.

  • Experience planning and managing both small and large-scale training events, with flawless follow-through and execution.

  • Advanced interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including outstanding presentation skills.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively with both large and small groups.

  • Must be able to work independently and transparently, possessing the judgment to provide frequent, concise, and cogent management updates.

  • Ability to effectively present information in a clear manner, demonstrate procedures and respond to questions.

  • Highly creative and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complete tasks/projects in accordance with stated deadlines.

  • Strong interest in growing and expanding learning and development capabilities.

  • Must possess a positive, solution-oriented and customer-focused attitude.

  • Ability to read, analyze, assemble, and compile information for reports, special projects, and surveys.

  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of employees, treating all with dignity and respect; Open and receptive to employees and their learning and development needs.

  • Must be able to manage and work within budget.

  • Strong technical aptitude and expertise (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Learning Management Systems).
