Hunton Services, a division of the Hunton Group in Houston, TX (www.huntongroup.com), is seeking a Training Coordinator to assist in administrative duties and to support the development and implementation of technical training programs for our HVAC Technicians. The candidate will play a key role focusing on scheduling, coordinating, with some instructional design, and the delivery of training experiences. While HVAC knowledge is beneficial, it is not required.

Key Capabilities:

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work effectively with the HVAC Instructor, Service Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of training goals and objectives .

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to support training facilitation and coordination.

    Instructional & Social Media Support:

  • Assist in creating, administering, and delivering training programs for diverse formats (virtual, in-person, hybrid).

  • Provide hands-on support in developing engaging training materials using authoring tools , like PowerPoint, Articulate Rise.

  • Assist with social media presence in creating engaging posts using LinkedIn.

    Organizational Skills:

  • Coordinate schedules, venues, materials, and logistics for training sessions.

  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining meticulous records in the Learning Management System (LMS) and Apprenticeship Program.

    Technical Proficiency:

  • Utilize and maintain expertise in content creation tools (e.g., Articulate), LMS platforms (e.g., Litmos, Paycom), and other emerging technologies to support training initiatives.

  • Assist in evaluating and implementing testing and assessment procedures to monitor training effectiveness.

  • Assist in the design, develop ment , and implement ation of training courses , job-aids, explainers, course catalogs, and training schedules for virtual, hybrid, and in-person settings.

  • Supportive Mindset:

  • Provide behind-the-scenes admin support to the Talent Development Specialist, HVAC Instructor and facilitators, ensuring smooth training delivery and other duties assigned.

  • Act as a reliable point of contact for addressing logistical /technical challenges or adjustments during the training process and with LMS.

  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving:

  • Address unexpected changes in schedules, venues, or materials with a calm and solution-oriented approach.

  • Quickly adapt to new technologies and training methods to support evolving program needs.

  • Data Management and Reporting:

  • Accurately track attendance, course completion, and apprentice program metrics.

  • Compile and deliver reports to Service Managers to keep them informed about training progress and outcomes.

    Requirements :

    Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with experience in training coordination or related field.

  • HVAC knowledge or certification is a plus but not required .

    Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency with LMS platforms (e.g., Litmos , Paycom ) , MS applications, and authori n g tools (Articulate 360 , PowerPoint, Canva, M S 360 ) .

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • P roficiency with social media software (LinkedIn) .

  • Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills for training facilitation.

  • Demonstrates professionalism by consistently maintaining a positive attitude, upholding ethical standards, and fostering respectful and effective communication in all interactions.

  • Experience with Paycom for tracking and reporting is preferred but not required .
