Purchase technology hardware and goods for on-time delivery across North America for installation. Receive hardware requests, procure technology and other goods, and ensure undamaged products. Review Invoices and cost charges, reviews General Ledger reports and requests corrections.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Procures technology for remote installation. Obtains physical shipping address and contact at local office. Verifies technology product requests with vendor, places orders, and ensures shipping date meets arrival expectations.
Reviews invoices for accuracy and identifies charge codes. Routes invoices for approval and payment. Tracks expenses for each installation project.
Monthly, reviews accounting reports against installation project expense log. Follows up on status of missing charges. Identifies incorrect charges and when possible identifies correct cost center.
Collaborate with vendors on delivery delays, damaged goods, replacement goods, invoice corrections, and issues to attain a mutually acceptable agreement while maintaining a positive working relationship.
Collaborate with supervisor on procurement delays that impact Field Engineer schedule.

Works independently; as needed requests work be peer reviewed for accuracy and improvement. Completes non-routine work applying experience and knowledge of procedures, regulations, and policies; escalates complex and unique issues for guidance. Takes the initiative to discuss assignments, expectations, priorities and deadlines as well as seek guidance and coaching from manager. Notifies manager when workload is light and volunteers for additional work. Adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Maintains department’s standard operating procedures (SOP) and job aids. Requests SOP & job aids peer review. Learns how to document SOPs, appropriate level of detail, and written communication.
MINIMUM Requirements
Education & Licenses
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience
At least two (2) years’ Technology Procurement experience collaborating with vendors on a variety of issues for an acceptable resolution
Demonstrate knowledge and application of regulations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Cognitive ability including reasoning, planning, identify problems, comprehend ideas, learn quickly, learn from experience, and appropriately apply learning to new situations.
Process and results oriented, motivated to keep projects moving ahead by identifying obstacles and exploring alternatives
