Job Title: Technician

Job Description

Seeking skilled technicians to service and repair automated beverage machines across commercial settings in the Houston, TX area. Responsibilities include cleaning, diagnosing, and repairing equipment, working with machine software, replacing components, and testing refurbished equipment. Technicians will also conduct QA inspections, maintain detailed records of refurbishment processes, coordinate with procurement teams for spare parts, and handle mailing logistics for defective and new parts. Projects typically range from 3 weeks to 2 months with potential breaks, reflecting the dynamic nature of a start-up environment.

Hard Skills

  • Mechanical aptitude (hand tools, pumps, regulators, small motors, flowmeters)

  • Electrical aptitude (multimeters, troubleshooting, wiring)

  • Basic plumbing knowledge

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair

  • Inventory control and organization

Soft Skills

  • Customer interaction and service

  • Ability to teach customers about machine functionality

  • Adaptability to work occasional evenings or weekends

  • Willingness to travel (up to 60% possible)

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully remote position.

Work Environment

Remote role with technicians reporting from home to various client sites around the Houston area. Technicians will use their own vehicles for transportation (mileage compensated) and manage part orders from home. Work hours are typically Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm/6:00pm, with openness to occasional evenings and weekends. Travel could potentially reach up to 60%.
