Siemens Energy Technical Sales and Business Development Specialist – EAD Life Cycle Management in Houston, Texas

The selected candidate will plan, conduct and manage customer engagements to identify life cycle solution needs and offerings. They will Identify, develop, drive, report, present winning profitable business opportunities by collaborating with supporting and contributing experts, functions and stakeholders!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Contributingto continued ambitious revenue growth, profitability, and customersatisfaction from existing and new customer base in North America

  • Activelycover multiple customer accounts representing the present and future fullvalue chain of the Service/Lifecycle Solutions business portfolio*

  • Followup offers and actively participate in presentation and negotiations withclients, thus participate in full sales process and handover to executionteams

  • ThroughCRM tools keep close track on activities and projections

  • Createenthusiasm across the aftermarket organization for the new initiatives

  • Identifyrelevant portfolio offerings that can help customers operational aspects

What You Bring

  • Musthave a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering orrelated technical field is required.

  • Minimumof 8 years of technical sales or business development experience isrequired; a deep understanding of the offshore oil, gas, subsea, marineand onshore process industries (such as chemicals, fiber and refineryindustries) is preferred.

  • Candidateswith more years of experience may be eligible for a more senior levelposition.

  • Must be willing to travel both regionally, domestically and internationally up to 40% ofthe time.

  • Broadcustomer network in one or more of owner/operator, EPC, Project Developersand a consistent track record of building customer networks is preferred.

  • Strongtechnical background (Electrification, Automation and/or Digitalizationpreferred) with advanced commercial experience.

  • Strongcommunication, oral presentation, and people skills working inmulti-field, and multi-cultural teams is highly desirable; must becomfortable dealing with all levels of management.

  • Strongknowledge, understanding and ability to clearly articulate solutionswithin Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization concepts.

  • Musthave strategic and tactical vision, able to ignite change by having highreaching goals!

  • Committedto achieving results with a strong customer focus!

  • Comfortablein a fast pace and complex business environment with multiple team membersand influencers.

  • Ableto build demand for solutions and implement the process from developmentto contract closure.

  • Allcandidates must be authorized or able to obtain authorization to work inthe United States.
