Description We are in search of a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team based in Houston, Texas. This role involves performing advanced accounting tasks that support the financial health and regulatory compliance within the industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and budget analysis specifically tailored to the unique needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in accordance with GAAP.

• Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight for decision-making processes.

• Manage general ledger accounts including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.

• Oversee timely processing of invoices and payments.

• Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on outstanding accounts.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data through regular audits and reviews.

• Implement and maintain effective cash flow management practices.

• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets.

• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function. Requirements

• Proficiency in using NetSuite is mandatory.

• Must have skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is expected.

• Experience in handling General Ledger is key for this role.

• Knowledge in processing Journal Entries is required.

• Expertise in Month End Close procedures is crucial.

• Must be capable of managing Intercompany Accounting tasks.
