Honeywell Sr IT Systems Architect-Teamcenter in Houston, Texas

As a Sr IT Systems Architect here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing IT systems architecture. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, identifying technical solutions, and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of the systems. Your expertise in IT architecture will contribute to the success of our business by enabling efficient and effective operations.

You will report directly to our IT Director and you'll work out of one of our Honeywell locations: Charlotte, NC, Houston, TX, Atlanta, GA or Phoenix, AZ on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the Honeywell business units by:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Teamcenter, Polarion and Rulestream infrastructure and application stack at Honeywell.

• Participate in Teamcenter Architecture and Infrastructure planning and solution deployment for PLM projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Siemens PLM, Honeywell Teamcenter Development & Support, and Database, Infrastructure & Networking teams.

• Provide technical guidance and support for the development or troubleshooting of software and hardware systems.

• Optimize the current Teamcenter systems landscape for performance and automate Teamcenter development pipeline using DevSecOps tools.

• Remediate technical debt and security vulnerabilities in the Teamcenter environment.

• Proactively monitor, analyze and optimize Teamcenter Systems and integrations availability and performance.

• Support the execution of deployment and data migration scripts in Teamcenter.

• Document deployment instructions, plan cutover windows, and communicate application downtime with business users.

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements YOU MUST HAVE

• 8+ years of experience in IT systems architecture

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and security

• Expertise in administering Teamcenter and CAD Integrations (Creo, NX, AutoCAD, Solidworks, SolidEdge, Xpedition) & Teamcenter - ERP (SAP/Oracle) Integration

WE VALUE

• In-depth knowledge of Teamcenter, Polarion and Rulestream Architecture, system components, and server sizing

• Proficiency in Apache Tomcat and Red Hat JBOSS application platforms

• Skilled in Teamcenter Deployment Center, Teamcenter Environment Manager, and BMIDE

• Experience with Teamcenter file management system (FMS) architecture and FMS routing design

• Ability to set up High Availability configurations i.e.multiple webs, pool server, multiple File Servers, bundling them into a single stack

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF)

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
