POSITION OVERVIEW: The Sr Business Analyst will be a key team member of a software development team servicing Musket Corporation, a trading and logistics company and Trillium, an alternative fueling solutions company, which are an integral part of the Love’s Family of Companies. This individual will serve as a conduit between the business and development team, evaluating business needs, analyzing options available, and providing effective and resourceful business IT solutions that support or enhance Musket Corporation’s daily operations and capabilities.

Ability to quickly analyze and identify more efficient workflows/processes
Ability to serve as a change agent in the organization
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze and document business process flows and system data flows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new feature functional designs, functional requirements, limitations, and implementations of new initiatives
Apply baseline understanding of performing data imports/exports, standard API’s and other common application development concepts to technical and functional discussions
Become the functional subject matter expert for the businesses supported as it pertains to systems and applications
Serve as team representative on the weekly Change Management, presenting changes and identifying potential external impacts to team
Communicate updates to users including release notes, outage notices, general announcements
Prep data and import/export using the data loader or other import tools
Build out reporting and dashboards
Chair User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles as needed
Assist in unit testing, regression testing, and QA as needed
Daily troubleshooting and technical support for applications to minimize production outages/downtime
Maintenance of users, profiles, roles and permission sets
Customization and configuration of standard objects, fields, layouts, and record types
Documentation of all system processes and training guides as needed
Train new and existing users on system functionality
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
5+ years working in a software development team preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, math, business, or equivalent experience and certifications
Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), waterfall, Agile, Kanban
Experience working in project management applications such as Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar
Familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk or similar
Experience in energy supply chain, specifically as it pertains to the movement of commodities such as oil, natural gas, refined products a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to engage in repetitive motions, including movements of the hands, wrists, or fingers
Ability to sit for prolonged periods
Ability to speak, including expressing oneself or exchanging information with others
Ability to hear, including perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
Ability to see and distinguish shapes with or without corrective eyewear
Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound
May be required to lift objects less than 25 pounds, occasionally
