Description We are on the lookout for a Senior Accountant to join our multinational manufacturing and services team based in Houston, Texas. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of data, acting as a focal point for reporting requirements, and supporting the production of corporate plans and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Consolidation Team in ensuring data is accurate and aligns with reporting requirements.

• Serve as a focal point for the internal Corporate Team for reporting requirements, disseminating changes as required to worldwide teams.

• Ensure systems and processes are in place to enable timely and accurate reporting, including evaluation and implementation of improvements to systems and processes.

• Validate that reporting data is prepared appropriately under IFRS and reconciles to the underlying source data.

• Prepare quarterly reporting requirements, including actual/plan forecast data for the Corporate Consolidation Department.

• Support the production and provision of cross-region financial analysis for stakeholders.

• Provide timely information and analysis to external auditors on a quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc basis.

• Regularly report Key Financial information to support operations, such as Capital Expenditure reporting.

• Support coordination of quarterly and year-end reviews by external auditors.

• Assist the FPA group in the production of corporate plans and forecasts.

• IFRS Accounting Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is necessary.

• Experience in managing General Ledger and Journal Entries is required.

• The role requires a strong understanding and application of IFRS Accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for financial analysis and reporting tasks.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures is a must.

• Familiarity with Oracle and SAP for accounting operations and systems is required.

• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills are needed.

• The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• An advanced certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) would be a plus.

• The individual must demonstrate ethical behavior and business practices and ensure own behavior and the behavior of others are consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of the organization.

• The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• The ability to meet strict deadlines and manage pressure situations is a must.
