We are seeking a Service Technician II for our 230-unit luxury apartment community conveniently located near major highways and Houston's Galleria! Our Service Technicians complete all aspects of apartment maintenance such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
As Service Technician II, you keep our residents happy knowing that their apartment and appliance repairs will be done quickly and professionally.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in on-site property maintenance.
- Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
- Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Responsibilities
Diagnosing and repairing basic and complex maintenance issues including, but not limited to:
A/C and heating systems.
Electrical and plumbing.
Appliances.
Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings.
Tile, carpet, flooring.
Ceiling leaks.
Required License or Certification:
Valid TX Driver's License or willing to obtain a Driver's License to meet these stipulations within 60 days; (driving to different worksites).
Must have Level II or Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification.
Workdays:
Monday - Saturday Work Hours:M-F8:30 am - 5:30 pm
Sat 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Weekends as circumstances warrant.
On-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
Background requirements:
Candidates must pass a drug screen and background check. Due to the nature of employer's business, company policy requires that candidates having criminal background will not be considered for employment.
