WM Senior Manager, Leadership Development in Houston, Texas

Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Leadership Development will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive programs and experiences that enhance leadership capabilities and managerial skills across all levels of WM This person will also be responsible for the design and management of participant experience, stakeholder management and vendor management. The successful individual must be comfortable working with ambiguity, balancing between strategic vision and tactical execution. They should also demonstrate a high level of accountability and autonomy to successfully deliver on program outcomes in a small and agile team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic vision for enterprise-wide leadership development that aligns with WMs culture, leadership expectations and equips leaders at all levels to build high-performing teams capable of executing on the company’s strategic priorities.

  • Regularly share leadership development strategy, priorities and program roadmaps with stakeholders to drive visibility and engagement with key offerings.

  • Manages all facets of leadership programs including the design/development and success metrics of the program as well as vendor relationships and program budget.

  • Manages a team of Leadership facilitators, coordinates logistics associated with cohort management and facilitation preparation.

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively launch and promote leadership development programs, ensuring stakeholder engagement through various channels and technologies.

  • Applies principles of adult learning, learner experience design, and sustainability processes to program design

  • Collects, analyzes, and reports metrics & tracking for key learning investments as well as identifies continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (accredited) or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience required.

  • Experience: 7 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement) required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job may be the management of employees. This includes:

  • Management of one or more exempt and/or non-exempt team members
