Description

Robert Half is searching for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and prepare financial statements and reports while ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and organizational policies.

  • Participate in the budgeting process, providing valuable input and projections.

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts as necessary.

  • Serve as a point of contact for auditing inquiries, prepare necessary documentation, and ensure adherence to audit standards.

  • Investigate financial discrepancies and facilitate resolution.

  • Recommend effective solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting tasks.

  • Assist with tax preparation duties, financial forecasts, and risk assessments.

  • Collaborate with team members to achieve financial objectives.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, taxation policies, and income tax procedures.

  • Proficient with financial software and MS Office.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to work both as a team member and independently.
