Description We are in the market for a Receptionist to become a part of our team, based in Houston, Texas. The individual will be tasked with managing visitors, ensuring security protocols are adhered to, and handling inquiries. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, guide, and appropriately direct visitors.

• Keep company staff informed about the arrival of visitors.

• Oversee the functioning of the telecommunications system.

• Address visitor inquiries, providing answers or directing them to the right individual or department.

• Manage and uphold security procedures within the organization.

• Utilize Blackbaud software effectively for various tasks.

• Perform receptionist duties in a manner that aligns with public school protocols. Requirements • Familiarity with receptionist duties including managing phone lines, directing calls, and greeting visitors.

• Experience or willingness to work in a public school environment.

• Proficiency in using Blackbaud software for administrative tasks.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems, including Blackbaud.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with staff, students, and visitors.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs of the school.

• Commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.
