What are we looking for?

The PT Senior Project Consultant (Environmental Engineer) is responsible for training, providing technical review, developing scope of work, attending client meetings, writing reports and proposals. This position will/could travel 10% of the time depending on project load/location.

Shift/Schedule: Varies depending on project load

What you’ll do:

  • Support the department on all environmental services including Phase I/II ESAs, asbestos surveys, lead-based paint surveys, UST/LUST assessments, site remediation, soil and groundwater sampling, wetland surveys, and/or field observation documentation.

  • Assist in the development of work scope, report preparation, client and subcontractor coordination, and assessment of proper response actions.

  • Conduct and manage environmental remediation projects.

  • Assist department manager with existing projects to include coordinating/performing field activities including inspections, managing budgets/subcontractors, report preparation.

  • Assist with and establish client relationships along with fostering client retention.

  • Focus on meeting client deliverables and timelines.

  • Prepare proposals and coordinate workload of support staff.

  • Communicate effectively with client and project teams and managing subcontractors.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

  • BS in Environmental Engineering

  • 20+ years of proven technical environmental consulting experience

  • Must be detail-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication, analytical, and organization, as well as time and budget management skills.

  • Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one’s discipline.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required.

  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER Training

  • PE and or PG
