Position Summary

Evoqua is now hiring for a Project Manager to work a hybrid work schedule out of our office in Houston, TX. In this role, you will manage key projects focused on temporary/rental water and wastewater treatment equipment for heavy industrial clients. You will be responsible for working directly with Evoqua’s clients and internal stakeholders to ensure the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Manages all aspects of multiple projects to ensure the program achieves strategic objectives.

  • Responsible for meeting objectives within quality, time, and budget targets, and for managing associated risks.

  • Acts as primary contact for project management-related activities; leads project kick-off meetings, project review sessions, manage project tasks, and monitors scope, schedule, and budget.

  • Develops schedules, coordinates procurement of all water treatment equipment, loose equipment & instrumentation, and facilitates all logistics coordination.

  • Provides project engineering support during P&ID reviews

  • Reports regularly on progress, cost and schedule, procurement issues, safety concerns, design questions, potential impacts, and any issues

  • Provides feedback on lessons learned during execution to other functions to drive continuous improvement

  • Provides leadership by developing and motivating the team to meet or exceed project goals and milestones

  • Coordinates and supports field installation teams during installation, commissioning, and startup.

  • Maintains communication with the customer throughout the project.

  • Provides input in the development of proposals and pricing

Position Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent require; BA/BS degree – technical preferred

  • CAPM/CPIM certification preferred

  • 2-5 years experience in a project management role

  • Ability to drive project financial performance (forecasting, revenue, margin)

  • Candid and timely communication skills

  • Ability to take initiative and have forward thinking

  • Experience with and ERP System, SAP preferred

  • Advanced understanding of MS Office (project, word, excel)

Additional Details

  • Works independently without direct supervision

  • TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 10%

  • TARGET SALARY 100,000-110,000

$70,500.00 - $126,500.00
