Sysco Project Manager, Finance - USBL - US in HOUSTON, Texas

Job Summary:

Responsible for driving the end-to-end planning and project portfolio management process across the Strategy program. Ensuring that all initiatives identified through the strategic planning process are organized, fully resourced and executed in line with the program scope and objectives, timings and within the budget constraints set to achieve their desired results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead full project lifecycle from intake through deployment, as well as communication, change management and mobilization

  • Support the leadership team in facilitating the successful execution of the strategic initiatives through effective tracking and collaborative working with all of the relevant functional teams in and outside of the project

  • Track and report on progress against all initiatives

  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure tracking against business case targets

  • Use insight to support ongoing strategy reviews for both the existing strategy and potential future phases

  • Build alignment across the strategic plans, initiatives and activities and work with the functional team members to highlight opportunities to bring initiative activities together across the business

  • Working collaboratively with key business stakeholders to ensure that new initiatives are reviewed, approved, and implemented in an effective way

  • Key system access reviews as needed for assigned sites

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree

Education Preferred:

MBA

Experience Required:

5 years of project management experience

Experience Preferred:

Merger & Acquisition experience

Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software
