Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Programmer Analyst in the education industry. Based in Houston, Texas, this role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining digital platforms that align with our business objectives and technological efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing enterprise-level digital solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure.

• Identifying emerging digital trends and incorporating relevant ones into the business strategy.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to enhance our digital platform.

• Understanding and documenting both the technical and business requirements of the organization and translating these into effective digital strategies.

• Overseeing the implementation of new software and hardware to ensure compatibility and efficiency.

• Monitoring the digital solution lifecycle and making necessary adjustments for maximum value.

• Ensuring efficient functioning of digital solutions, anticipating potential issues, and proactively seeking optimal solutions.

• Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.

• Creating and maintaining a knowledge base for digital solutions, standards, and best practices. Requirements • Proven experience in Backend Development

• Proficient in Database management and DB2 Database

• Knowledge and experience in EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with Hibernate ORM

• Experience in AB Testing

• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology

• Proficiency in ASP.NET

• Knowledge of CSS

• Experience in Design controls

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively

• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning new programming languages
