Job Title: Press Operator Trainee

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to train as a Machine Operator for operating large hammer presses to form shell plates. The training will cover the operation of three different hammer presses: 500 ton, 750 ton, and 1500 ton. The plates to be handled are 1"-3" thick. While prior experience with hammer presses is not required, candidates with a background in fabrication, press brake, rolling, or blacksmith machine operation are ideal as comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities also include using an overhead crane to maneuver large plates around the press.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large, open-aired space. Working hours are from 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays as required.
