UTHealth Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Fetal Intervention - 24000346 in Houston, Texas
The position is with the Fetal Center at UTHealth Houston.
The goal of this assignment is to conduct research related to improving outcomes after fetal surgery through improved diagnosis, refinement of procedures and evaluating outcomes. Fetal intervention for conditions including twin-twin transfusion syndrome, fetal spina bifida and other fetoscopic-based and needle guided in-utero procedures. The activities will also include but not limited to laboratory and animal research

Position Summary:
Ob Gyn, Maternal Fetal Medicine and/or Fetal Surgery experience is preferred.
A biomedical postdoc position provides an opportunity for early-career researchers to gain valuable experience, develop independent research skills, and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in their field of expertise.
Position Key Accountabilities:
- Plans and conducts experiments, analyzes data, and prepares publications describing results.
- Assists in training and mentoring of lab personnel, including graduate students and other trainees.
- Reads and evaluates literature.
- Possess interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels.
- Have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Doctoral/Terminal Degree
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
