Current projects of interest focus on the activity of a novel, home-grown set of patented monoclonal antibodies that are showing immunomodulatory and direct cytotoxic activity against a variety of tumor models as naked antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, and in chimeric antigen receptor guided T-cells.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The candidate will be involved in developing and evaluating novel adoptive T-cell therapy strategies including CAR-T and TCR-T, and viral- and tumor antigen-specific T cells in both in vitro and in vivo models. Candidates should be self-motivated, career-oriented, and should be capable of troubleshooting.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should be graduates with an M.D. and/or Ph.D. in immunology/immunotherapy with experience in T-cell culture, assays to assess T-cell function, animal experiments with syngeneic or xenograft tumor models, and T-cell biology. Experience in working with human immune and tumor cells, animal studies, retrovirus and/or lentiviral generation, molecular cloning, transduction of primary T cells, gene editing, and flow/mass cytometry is preferred.
