McDermott Pipe Facing Machine Operator in Houston, Texas
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Prepare bevel line pipes during pipeline installation mode to correct specific parameters
Ensure all shavings are deposited into allocated bins using correct tools and PPE
Ensure overhead hoists are used correctly (obtain additional training as required)
Assume other duties in non-pipelay mode as assigned by Supervisor
Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with the established HSES Safety standards and Work practices
Following all company policies and procedures, and ensuring subordinates do the same.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
High school graduate
2 years experience in offshore construction industry
2 years as rigger
