Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tasked with enhancing the University brand through effective marketing strategies, with the goal of maximizing game-day fan experience and revenue generation from BASEBALL and other sports.
Required to develop and implement marketing plans, ticketing strategies, and game-day promotions specifically for baseball and other university sports as assigned.
Collaborates with graphic artists to design targeted promotional advertisements to boost baseball attendance among students, alumni, faculty, staff, youth groups, and local communities.
In charge of planning, supervising, and executing all in-game, half-time, and special event promotions with a special focus on baseball to improve overall fan engagement.
Oversees the creation of game-day marketing scripts and timelines specific to baseball and other assigned sports.
Provides support during external or special events to further promote the University's Athletics Department.
Active participation in the preparation and implementation of home football game days.
Acts as a liaison for community outreach initiatives centered on baseball and other assigned sports.
Directs the production and distribution of promotional materials required specifically for baseball and other given sports.
Supports other marketing department initiatives and game production tasks for UH Sports as required.
Represents the Athletics Department and the University as an ambassador, continually promoting a positive image.
Requirements
Job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of three (3) years of directly job-related experience.
