Job description: The SAP Transportation Management Lead will guide and consult on SAP TM processes and integrations with other modules, and lead facilitation of TM workshops. The SAP TM Lead will manage TM deliverables, and staffing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise in SAP TM in customer engagement and solutioning.

• Articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies

• Oversee all delivery of the TM requirements.

• Provide expertise in SAP Solutions within the Food Processing/ Protein Industry (Beef, Pork, Chicken, or Fish), and implementing solutions such at catch weight, perishable food management, refrigerated transportation and warehousing, SAP Food Processing (MSG – Software), etc.

• Lead facilitation of TM workshops, manage TM deliverables, and staffing requirements.

• Configure SAP Transportation Management (TM) processes and integrations with other modules.

• Provide guidance to the businesses on the appropriate use of the SAP system, review, analyze, and evaluate as-is business processes within the Transport Management work stream. Design to-be business processes based on SAP DTS and TM global template and best practices, lead and assist in SAP design sessions or blueprint workshops

• Configure and maintain the relevant SAP S/4HANA components including Order Mgt, Freight Planning & Tendering, Freight Execution & Monitoring, Freight Settlement(including documentation)

Required and preferred skills:

• Preferred Industry Experience in order of preference: Food/Protein, Process, discrete industry.

• Preferred experience with Live Animal Procurement processing, Global Batch Traceability, Disassembly Process and Byproduct production and usage.

• Experience with and knowledge of SD in S/4HANA Must be meticulous, self-directed and have strong independent critical thinking skillsGood communication and presentation skills.

• Strong executive presence and ability to interact with CxO level

• Ability to mentor team members in technology, architecture, and delivery of applications

• Successful teamwork experience and proven leadership abilities are required

• Build a shared sense of direction and community among the teams

• Validated ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements

• Time management skills are vital; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.

• MUST be willing to travel extensively.

• Solid history of professional success, preferably in the Consulting Services arena9-13 years (3 years min meaningful experience in the role)
