Manager II and#150; Starting Market Rate Salary $89,692.85A Provider Investigations Manager oversees a unit of investigators responsible for investigating abuse, neglect, and exploitation of adults and children in State Hospitals, Managed Care, and Community Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) services. Investigations conducted by the unit are completed in accordance with Texas Administrative Code and Provider Investigations Policy. The unit may include an administrative assistant who is accountable for supporting the unit(s). The position interacts routinely with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, individuals receiving services, representatives from different organizations, facilities, providers, and the general public. This position can telework in accordance with department policy and may need to work outside their typical schedule which may exceed 40 hours in one week dependent upon business need. Works occasionally outside of regular working hours (8 am and#150; 5 pm), which may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays, as required for case-related functions and/or as required by management.
