A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Machinists to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating both manual and CNC machines to produce parts that meet customer specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and a safety environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Setup and operate manual machines and CNC machines, including lathes andmills.

• Interpretblueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriatesetup and machining operations.

• Monitorthe machining process to ensure parts are produced to customerspecifications.

• Performin-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g.,calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.

• Makenecessary adjustments to machines and programs to maintain productquality.

What You Bring

• Highschool diploma or GED that can be verified is required; technical orvocational training in machining is preferred.

• Aminimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist

• Strongunderstanding of machining principles, techniques, and best practices.

• Abilityto read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.

• Proficiencyin using precision measuring instruments.

• Strongproblem-solving skills and attention to detail; Ability to workindependently and as part of a team and have excellent communication andorganizational skills.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
