Inventory Planner

Location: North Houston, TX (near George Bush Airport)

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

As an Inventory Planner at our warehouse facility, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks to ensure smooth operations. Your duties will include creating inbound work orders for de-installs, tracking routers, and performing cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels. You will also be responsible for creating badges and IDs for employees and visitors, storing and entering paperwork for receiving, and updating SO/WO/PO reports. Additionally, you will handle the receipt of returns, even those without proper paperwork, ensuring all inventory processes are meticulously documented and managed.

Key Areas of Responsibility

As an Inventory Planner you will support inventory by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Transact and inspect transactions in Oracle related to Inventory.

  • Support Receiving area with transactions in the system.

  • Support Staging/Production area with transactions in the system.

  • Support Shipping area with transactions in the system.

  • Perform cycle counts.

  • Issue in materials into inventory.

  • Issue out materials of inventory.

  • Other duties as assigned.

SYSTEMS INVOLVED:

  • Oracle

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Outlook

  • Excel

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalency required.

  • 1-2 years of Inventory experience.

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to interact with a diverse audience.

  • Great attention to detail.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel).

  • Must have a demonstrated ability to analyze Inventory.

  • Must be able to successfully pass all applicable background screening tests.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle (preferred) or similar general ledger system experience.

  • Forklift experience is a plus.
