Job Responsibilities

This internship role will provide broad exposure to both internal and external facets of corporate communications and include the following responsibilities:

  • Assist with coordination of employee and volunteer/community outreach events.

  • Create and maintain project materials such as information packets, rosters and other general administration.

  • Organize and sort department content located on various media (share drives, SharePoint, binders, etc.).

  • Perform inventory on project items and merchandise.

  • Create and maintain content for electronic bulletin boards, intranet and social media channels.

  • Update department procedures and work instructions.

  • Support other departments as needed with communications-related tasks.

    Job Requirements

  • Fulltime student currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university, majoring in communications, community relations, public relations, journalism, business management/administration or related field.

  • Sophomore or above, having complete at least 30 credit hours.

  • GPA of 3.0 or above.

  • Is in good standing with their respective university.

  • Possesses excellent verbal/written communications skills and attention to detail.

  • Has intermediate skills using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

  • Has basic to intermediate knowledge of the Adobe design suite of products including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

  • Occasional availability after working hours or on weekends to help execute and participate in employee activities and volunteer events.

  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future for any company
