Our greatest asset has been, and will continue to be, our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Workday Functional Consultant within our HR Systems group based in Houston, Texas.

We are seeking an individual who has both functional and technical experience in multiple Workday Modules, especially Core HCM & Recruiting. This role will primarily support the need of building, maintaining, and troubleshooting Workday configurations and business process globally. We value an individual who is willing to take charge and collaborate with various corporate functions within our organization as well as 3rd party vendors to determine the ideal solutioning of the process. As a member of this team, this individual must be able to manage multiple ongoing projects as well as taking on new projects and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

· Configure and solution Oxy business processes in Workday Core HCM and Recruiting modules and provide end user support;
· Responsible for assisting in planning and execution of Workday semi-annual releases for new enhancements, configuration migration, coordinate regression testing, and maintain regression test scripts;
· Accountable for HR Systems adherence to change controls and other support processes, case management and performance reporting;
· Enhancement request intake, and prioritization configuration, testing, implementation and support;
· Assessment, design and delivery of process improvements based on leading practices;
· HCM strategy and transformation across people, process and organization enabled by technology;
· Ensure HRIS compliance with data privacy and adhere to Oxy cyber security requirements;
· Maintenance and building of effective controls;
· Ability to write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently to all levels of staff and management;

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field
· Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Workday applications, preferably Core HCM & Recruiting
· In-depth knowledge of Workday objects/fields and able to create complex reports
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for problem solving
· Familiar with Office 365 products. Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • One or more Workday HCM certifications
