Job Description

A large utilities company in Downtown Houston is hiring a GIS Analyst to support the testing and development within their GIS program, ArcGIS. This individual will be involved in the upgrading of their internal system by running, reading, and then executing test cases found in SharePoint. Once the test cases are marked pass or fail, the GIS Analyst will relay this information to the GIS Developers and the developers will take the next step on fixing the test case. The GIS Analyst will report to the Manager of GIS Development and join a team of 15. The purpose of this position is to assist in the product testing and development within the GIS system and any incremental upgrades to ArcGIS Pro. This is a six-month contract that could extend longer.

2-4 years of GIS experience

ArcGIS experience

Experience reviewing and executing GIS test cases

Able to read directions and complete tasks Utilities experience

Esri experience null
