Job Title: GIS TechnicianJob Description

We are currently sourcing for a GIS Technician to support projects based in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working with GIS systems and tools such as ArcGIS and ArcFM. Experience in the midstream industry, specifically supporting pipeline projects, will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit linear and stationed route events

• Research historical pipeline data including materials lists, completion reports, maintenance records, work orders, markups, alignment sheets, and survey data

• Read and interpret drawings, ISOs, schematics, and alignment sheets

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of GIS technician experience

• 3+ years of experience with ArcGIS and ArcFM

• 3+ years of experience in pipeline or similar industry

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting the midstream industry

• UPMD experience is desirable

• Knowledge of civil drafting and engineering

• Proficiency in modeling and handling geospatial data

Work Environment

The work environment is an office setting with an 8-hour workday from 6 am to 2:30-3 pm, including half-day Fridays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
