Stabil Drill is currently seeking a Full-Time Fork Lift Operator to join our team in Houston, Texas for the day shift. **Please note: Our new facility is being built in Conroe TX with a projected opening date of March 2025.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities ·
Retrieving supplies and materials, locating and verifying tools and materials; move material to assigned location safely.
Load and unload outgoing and incoming jobs.
Clearing production area by securing and moving finished tools and pallets.
Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment.
Clean and service forklifts.
Follow established safety policies and procedures.
On a rotation basis, will be required to be on call when scheduled.
Perform any other delegated duties considered appropriate in order to maintain the efficient running of the department.
Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED) preferred.
1 year of forklift experience preferred.
Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
Knowledge/Skills/abilities ·
Knowledge of how equipment is organized to ensure proper storage and shipping.
Skilled in operating equipment capable of carrying heavy and wide loads.
Complete tasks and follow oral and written instructions with minimal supervision.
Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
Accurately complete/maintain necessary reports/records in a timely and legible manner, in accordance with applicable procedures and/or work order.
