Job Title: Fitter/Fabricator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Fabricator to join our team. You will be responsible for fabricating silencers, primarily using carbon steel. Your tasks will include fitting shells together, attaching lifting supports/legs onto rolled plates, fitting and welding caps onto pipes, and fitting up flanges and nozzles onto materials. Additional responsibilities include burning out holes, cleaning them, beveling, and squaring up. Proficiency in reading prints and performing basic math is required. You will also perform light welding using MIG and flux techniques and operate various fabrication machines such as presses, punches, saws, and torches as needed.

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Environment

Clean, open-aired shop. This is a contract position expected to last through Q1, with the possibility of extension based on workload. If extended, there is an opportunity for conversion to a full-time hire. The position requires comfort with working 60+ hours a week. Shifts available: 1 Night shift (6pm-6am, Monday-Saturday, Sundays as needed) and 1 Day shift (6am-6pm, Monday-Saturday).
