The work:

Thought Leadership

  • Understand client transformation needs, develop proposed solutions and deliver high impact technology initiatives

  • Consult and partner with our clients to help them develop high performance solutions to advance their industry position

  • Build relationships with FS clients to sustain Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner

  • Manage and coach junior team members, and continue to grow your own expertise to help Accenture maintain its thought-leadership position

Delivery Execution

  • Serve as the main point of contact between the client and team

  • Manage project teams, deliverables and budgets across workflows

  • Support the design & execution of large scale and complex integrated transformation programs; focusing on tasks relating to people, process and technology in the FS industry

  • Implement business changes that drive industry-specific, function and digital operating model transformation, focusing on tasks relating to people and process

  • Synthesize overall technology needs by analyzing a wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements

  • Manage FS implementation engagements (requirements, design, test, deployment, etc.), from client buy-in to planning, budgeting, deliverables, and risk assessment, with heavy client engagement and large delivery teams

  • Support and share knowledge with project teams and use analytics to find new ways of working that put people and process first

  • Stay on top of how new regulations and technologies affect our clients’ businesses and ours

Sales & Origination

  • Contribute to the sales and origination, thought leadership, delivery, and execution phases of the project

  • Attract new business by creating thoughtful proposals and building strong client relationships

  • Originate, qualify, and close new opportunities for Accenture with our FS clients

  • Manage performance and profitability of sold deals, and identify opportunities for extension, cross-sell or up-sell- Help grow the practice by championing Accenture initiatives and products

Travel:

Travel as needed based on client expectations.

Here’s what you need:

  • 8+ years of experience in Finance, Risk or Compliance within the banking, capital markets, wealth management, retirement or payment industries (including thorough knowledge of the Basel Accord, Dodd Frank, FBO, FINRA, SEC, FinCEN, OCC, FDIC, CCAR, etc.)

  • 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following (Audit, Risk and Controls, Fraud, FinCrime, AML, KYC, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring)

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance, Risk or Compliance role for a management consulting firm serving the FS industry

  • 3+ years of experience that include regulatory guidance or compliance domain

Bonus points, if:

  • You have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in delivering large, complex bodies of work, for e.g., relating to regulatory findings remediation, to modernization of Finance, Risk and Compliance functions, etc.

  • Worked on complex transformation initiatives (including M&A) in the past and gained insights from a Finance, Risk and Compliance perspective

  • Ability to build business cases that are the basis for large enterprise wide initiatives

  • Experience in building next generation analytics capabilities (e.g., GenAI, data models) in the Finance, Risk and Compliance space

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, including compelling story telling skills, highlighting of a large change or transformation to an executive audience

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

  • You have experience working with onshore and offshore delivery teams

  • Experience with the sales process

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
