PRIMARY PURPOSE: To perform a variety of complex 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional computer graphics simulation and animation using advanced principles, training, education, and expertise.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the preparation and creation of computer graphical visual analysis.

  • Executes graphics projects and assists in the coordination of graphic production scheduling.

  • Assists in the coordination of production from outside vendors as needed.

  • Ensures that assigned projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the user’s satisfaction.

  • Interfaces with investigators and Project Managers to determine scope of assigned projects and determines the best graphic medium.

  • Troubleshoots computer equipment problems and works with department(s) to perform minor preventative maintenance.

  • Maintains all accreditations and certifications relative to the position and work performed.

  • Attends and successfully completes training course(s) as required.

  • Trains other colleagues in the proper use of computer graphic equipment.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

  • Attends all departmental meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience

Eight (8) years of experience working in the creation of computer graphic models or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience using 2D and 3D simulation and animation software programs required.
