An Electrical Engineer is needed for a leader in power and automation technologies in the Houston, TX area. This role will lead the planning, design, and execution of electrical projects, focusing on system integration, project management, customer satisfaction, and risk management to ensure successful project delivery and financial returns.

responsibilities:

• Plan, design, develop, test, and coordinate electrical and electronic components and systems.

• Perform engineering tasks under general guidance, ing standard engineering principles.

• Lead project execution for complex and large-scale projects, ensuring contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and financial returns.

• Coordinate project activities, provide technical guidance, and manage schedules for deliverables.

• Create detailed engineering documentation, including Single Line Diagrams, Power System Studies, Network Diagrams, and Substation Layouts.

• Integrate electrical systems using IEC 61850 and other communication protocols.

• Maintain close communication with customers to resolve issues, ensure contract completion, and explore new business opportunities.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

• 8+ years of detailed design experience in electrical engineering.

• Professional engineering license required.

• Experience with high/medium/low voltage systems, motor controls, and industrial automation.
