Our DNA Lab Technician position is a great opportunity to work with a leading Biotech company!

We are looking for a sharp professional that possesses these top 3 skills:

1. DNA/RNA or PCR experience

2. NGS experience

3. Laboratory experience

Pay: $20-$22/hr

Schedule: M-F 9a-5p

Type of Job: Contract; possible contract to hire

Location : Onsite- Houston, TX

At this time, Astrix cannot transfer nor sponsor a work Visa for this position.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

DNA Lab Technician Daily Tasks : What you will do:

• Maintain laboratory records of work competed and sample tracking

• Prepare and analyze DNA and RNA samples

• Responsible for sample tracking, pooling documentation, and sample sheet creation

• Maintain laboratory equipment

DNA Lab Technician Qualifications/Requirements:

• B.S. Biology or related field

• 2 years of Lab Experience w/ DNA or RNA extraction or PCR

• NGS experience is a plus!
