Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Houston, Texas

Description

We are looking to hire a dedicated and self-motivated Desktop Support Professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience for our client in the Houston area. The right candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients and working collectively with the team to resolve system issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support to end-users for IT-related issues and requests.

  • Administer and manage Email services and solutions (O365 specifically).

  • User administration in Active Directory.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to system performance, network connectivity, application conflicts, hardware breakdowns, etc.

  • Timely resolutions of incidents while ensuring users’ satisfaction.

  • Co-ordinate with vendors to arrange for needed system updates, patches, equipment, etc.

  • Compile and update user and system documentation.

    Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Desktop Support.

  • Strong working knowledge of O365 email service.

  • Proficient in managing Active Directory Services.

  • Excellent communication, customer handling, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks responsibly with minimal supervision.

  • Knowledgeable in various software, hardware, systems, and networks.

  • IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or MCSE are preferred (but not mandatory).
