Ensure that patients are comfortable in the dental chair. Prepare patients and the work area for treatments and procedures. Sterilize dental instruments. Hand instruments to dentists during procedures. Dry patients' mouths using suction hoses and other equipment. Instruct patients in proper oral hygiene.
