FRESH DENTAL PLLC Dental Assistant - 77084 in Houston, Texas
- Perform diagnostic quality radiographs
- Take intraoral images
- Assist with exams
- Evaluate and record blood pressure
- Maintain and update patients health history and treatment records
- Set-up and breakdown rooms properly and efficiently
- Sterilization of instruments
- Assist the dentist chair-side with general treatment (4 handed dentistry required)
- Assist the dentist with packing core and making temporary crown
- Scan via the Trios scanner for crowns, nightguards, dentures, implants, ortho, etc.
- Take traditional impression only when required by dentist
- Give pre-op and post-op instructions to patients after their procedures
- Stocks supplies in operatories, lab, breakroom, restrooms, and resupply closet
- Update lab logs for all incoming and outgoing cases on a weekly basis
- Properly perform Osha and maintenance duties and accurately updated logs for the office
- Promptly inform supervisor of broken or malfunctioning equipment
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum Experience: 1 year of experience preferred, but not required
Valid Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License required
Open Dental Proficiency is preferred, not required
Shift: Full Time / Days / TBD
