An Information Technology firm in Clear Lake, Houston, Texas, USA is seeking a full-time database administrator.
Job Title:
Database Administrator.
Job Description:
Perform database administration responsibilities for Oracle and SQL Server, in both standalone and cloud environment.
Data migration to/from Oracle.
Debug and fix existing software programs.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Minimum Education Requirement:
- Bachelors Degree in the area of Computer Science.
Skills/Qualifications Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Excellent communication skills to work closely with customers to provide DBA support.
A minimum 3 years of Oracle and SQL Server database administration is required.
Demonstrate proficiency with transact-SQL, triggers, stored procedures and optimization of database schemas.
Expertise in Windows and Linux operating system.
Demonstrate working knowledge of Java, Javascript, ASP.NET, MVC Framework, HTML, CSS.
Prefer working knowledge of C#, SharePoint.
Demonstrate basic understanding of the LAN/WLAN network communication.
