Description

We are enticed to partner with a well-established serviced company for a Controller search based in Houston, Texas. As a Controller, you will be pivotal in managing accounting operations, overseeing payroll and benefits, preparing financial statements, and supporting tax planning. Your role will also involve leading budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate project cost reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire spectrum of accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), general ledger, and financial reporting.

• Assume responsibility for payroll management, benefits administration, and ensuring HR compliance.

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Take the lead in budgeting and forecasting activities, delivering valuable insights to senior management.

• Attend and contribute to Work In Progress (WIP) meetings, ensuring accurate project cost reporting.

• Develop and uphold internal controls, maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

• Support tax planning initiatives and cater to external audit requirements.

Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Degree in Accounting

• 5-7+ years experience

• Accounting leadership

• POC cost accounting experience

• Solid Excel skills

• Good tenure
