Job Title: Construction Materials Technician

Job Description

The Construction Materials Technician (CMT) will take samples of concrete and soils from the construction site to the lab for testing. You will contact the Technician to support deadlines both in the field and laboratory. Ensure the safe utilization, storage, and maintenance of all nuclear gauges. You will also ensure the safe usage and maintenance of individually assigned company vehicles, field, and laboratory equipment. Additionally, you will submit inspection reports.

Hard Skills

• 6+ months of recent CMT experience

• ACI Concrete Grade 1 Certification (REQUIRED)

• Hazmat Level 1A and 1B (a PLUS)

• Valid Driver's License

• GED or High School Diploma

• Math skills to analyze sample results

• Read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc.

Soft Skills

• Ability to work a very flexible schedule

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Houston, Texas.
