Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Security Engineer in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, working within the industry of cloud security. This role entails creating secure cloud strategies, designing and implementing secure cloud architectures, and ensuring the security of data in transit and at rest.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures

• Develop and implement cloud security strategies

• Ensure the security of data in transit and at rest

• Work with various AWS Technologies such as Amazon EC2, Auto Scaling and others

• Utilize Ansible for configuration management and application deployment

• Implement API Development for secure data access and manipulation

• Use Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking

• Employ automation strategies for streamlined operations

• Familiarize with Backup Technologies for data recovery and protection

• Perform Cluster Analysis for data processing and segmentation Requirements • Proficiency in Amazon EC2, Atlassian Jira, and Auto Scaling is mandatory

• Demonstrable experience with Ansible and AWS Technologies

• Expertise in API Development and Automation

• Familiarity with Backup Technologies

• Strong understanding of Cluster Analysis

• Ability to design, implement, and maintain security protocols for cloud-based platforms

• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks, standards, and best practices

• Experience in identifying and mitigating cloud security vulnerabilities

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security issues to non-technical team members
