Job Description:
UES is seeking a dedicated and Business Development Intern to join our team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development, client relations, and sales support within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry. You’ll work closely with our Business Development (BD) and Marketing teams to support proposal preparation, client outreach, data management, and event coordination.
Responsibilities:
Assist with data entry and organization for the Business Development Department.
Set up new sales opportunities and projects within our CRM system, ensuring proper tracking.
Prepare and format professional documents in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Help create and maintain a centralized repository for UES documents needed for prequalification processes.
Conduct outreach to A/E/C firms from interested bidders lists to explore potential partnerships and teaming opportunities.
Maintain and update calendars for upcoming industry events, seminars, and trade shows for the BD team.
Perform various administrative tasks to support the sales and business development teams.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a college or university (Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Comfortable with client interaction and professional communication.
