Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Business Analyst for our Financial Services sector based in Houston, Texas. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for establishing and documenting key performance indicators, delivering regular reports to leadership, and collaborating with various teams for the alignment of information with business processes. Responsibilities:

• Establish and document key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of data quality initiatives.

• Regularly document and deliver reports to leadership on the health and status of data governance initiatives.

• Adhere to established standards and best practices that align with governance, data quality, and master data management initiatives.

• Collaborate with data governance specialists and business SMEs in creating and maintaining a business glossary for the respective subject area.

• Work with business, functional areas, and IT teams to ensure the alignment of information with business processes.

• Collaborate with various teams to map current and target enterprise data views, including the documentation of each step's source and destination, and associated processes.

• Document data lineage across business processes, identifying both value opportunities and potential data quality issues.

• Analyze, document, and report on any data-related problems or risks associated with the Bank’s systems and data.

• Present the findings and potential solutions of any data-related problems in a clear, organized manner to management.

• Use data analytics and modeling tools, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Financial Services industry

• Proficiency in Business Analysis

• Ability to prepare and maintain Business Requirement Document

• Experience in the Banking Industry

• Knowledge of Data Governance

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred

• Strong understanding of financial markets and trends

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines

• Experience in project management and change management preferred

• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
