Assistant Property Manager – Real Estate License Required

Are you a licensed real estate professional with a passion for property management? My client in the Greenspoint area is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join the team!

What You'll Do:

  • Manage tenant relations, addressing requests to enhance satisfaction.

  • Support property budgets, financials, and rent collections.

  • Oversee vendor coordination and maintenance to keep properties top-notch.

Requirements:

  • Active Texas real estate license required

  • 1-3 years of property management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and service requests, coordinating with property management and maintenance teams for timely resolution.

  • Assist in preparing and distributing tenant communications, including notices, newsletters, and updates on property-related matters.

  • Support the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations of assigned properties, including building maintenance, repairs, and security.

  • Coordinate vendor activities, such as janitorial services, landscaping, and repair work

  • Monitor building systems and common areas, scheduling maintenance and inspections as needed to maintain property quality and compliance.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial reports, and other documentation as required.

  • Oversee the collection of rents and follow up on any outstanding payments, working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing.

  • Review and process invoices from vendors, verifying service completion and accuracy before submission for approval.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of property management activities, including leases, contracts, insurance certificates, and maintenance logs.

  • Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and tenant agreements.

  • Support lease administration by maintaining up-to-date records of lease terms, amendments, and renewal dates.
