Our client located in the Clear Lake area of Houston, TX is in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This role will be primarily focused on maintaining accurate records of customer accounts, processing applications, and resolving inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Full cycle Accounts Payable.

• Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

• Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage and present data.

• Utilize SAP system for various accounting operations.

• Execute account reconciliation to ensure all financial records are accurate.

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and ensure all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.

• Process invoices effectively and accurately.

• Manage check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Handle purchase orders and ensure they align with company policies and budget.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Knowledge of Check Runs process

• Proficiency in Coding Invoices

• Good Data Entry skills

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in using SAP

• Familiarity with Purchase Orders

• Must have strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

• Ability to work well in a team and independently

• Must have a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Knowledge of manufacturing industry preferred
