Our client, a leading player in the food warehouse industry, is seeking an Accountant III to join their team. As an Accountant III, you will be part of a dynamic accounting department. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accountant III

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Range: $30/hour

What's the Job?

• Review and approve monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and lower risk.

• Act as the escalation point of contact for balance sheet accounts assigned to different entities.

• Oversee the month-end task list, ensuring timely completion of all period close activities.

• Develop and perform analytics on key accounts to drive resolution and create efficiencies.

• Mentor new Accounting Analysts and assist in revising Standard Operating Procedures as needed.

What's Needed?

• 5 years of accounting or related experience required.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized accounting/finance software (ERP Systems).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to find and resolve discrepancies.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
